Major responsibility


  • Develop legal strategy, legal risk and compliance management
  • Develop overall legal strategy for the company under the group wide blueprint.
  • Evaluate legal risks and develop procedures to mitigate such risks with management team.
  • Provide compliance leadership and support, including trainings, advice at all levels of the organization
  • Develop and maintain commercial policies and procedures and monitor to ensure compliance
  • Identify and assess the potentially legal risks and provide practical solution (if needed) in commercial decisions and projects
  • Legal consultancy service to business
  • Advise the regional management on a wide variety of legal issues on business’s operations and commercial transactions;
  • Provide contract review, negotiation and assistance on sales and service agreements
  • Prepare and deliver updates on legal developments and requirements to various audiences
  • Arbitration, dispute and litigation management 
  • Support on dispute management and resolution in the responsible region across a range of jurisdictions and dispute resolution mechanisms
  • Cross teams and functions support
  • Work closely with other legal functional counsels to support related matters (e.g. litigation, compliance, strategic advice, best practice etc.)
  • Support other parts of company in China and other initiatives



  • Bachelor’s degree in law
  • 5 to10+ years of professional working experience, general corporate law based on experience at a large law firm.
  • Solid experience in M&A or investment, company share restructuring projects
  • Fluency in oral and written English and Chinese
  • National legal qualification certificate is a must.
  • For solid experience candidates could be considered as Senior Legal Counsel
  • (Manager or AM Level).
